Here it is! The cover for my upcoming novel While We Bleed is out! This amazing artwork is by Adam Fyda, whom I hired over Reedsy. His covers typically feature a limited color scheme with stark contrasts and striking imagery that grabs your attention, and a more graphic approach versus the oil painting direction I’ve gone with for previous books. His portfolio caught my eye right away, and I’m super happy with the result here.

I know some people really liked the abstract swordsman graphic I’ve been using, but I saw someone else used it for their book recently and I didn’t want to copy. Besides it was a stock image so it wouldn’t be unique. This cover was the result of relatively few back and forth discussions with the artist, and it seemed we had similar ideas right away. I did have to insist on the font which he didn’t really like, but it’s very in line with other recent grimdark-adjacent works that’ve come out lately, so I think it will prove the right choice.

The book will be published in Ebook, paperback and hardcover formats. I plan to open it up for pre-orders within the next month and release by the end of the year. This means I’ll have published a book every year from 2020 to 2025. Not too shabby, even if no one reads them. I desperately need ARC readers, so if you would like a FREE ebook copy, let me know.
